I’ve just got my placement at the most amazing theatre company in Bristol.
When I’m there, not only are they doing a two week run of an incredible show but also doing workshops with young carers, kids in care, young people with learning disabilities, 6-9 year olds AND under fives.
And they’re based at the tobacco factory theatre which is, surprise surprise, a converted tobacco factory. How amazing is that?
I am smiling ear to ear at the moment. The lady was so lovely and said that they get lots of enquiries about placements but when she read my email it just absolutely shone and they just had this gut feeling that things were going to click with me!
I honestly, could cry with happiness, and I really really need this, what with panic attacks and having a term of school where I’ve just been so useless at everything.
